Shandong Yimeng Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Shandong Yimeng Transformer Factory) was founded in 1956. Its main products include "Yimeng" brand 10KV and 35KV voltage level power transformers, as well as complete sets of equipment for transmission, transformation, distribution, protection, and control. It covers an area of more than 100 acres, has fixed assets of 50 million yuan, more than 100 employees, an annual output value of 120 million yuan, 120 sets of various large-scale processing equipment, and more than 50 sets of advanced product performance testing equipment. The company's mature and complete technology, production, quality assurance, and human resources system provide high-quality energy-saving supporting products for the construction and renovation of urban and rural power grids nationwide.

The company was founded in 1956. In the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, in response to the call of the country to concentrate on developing productive forces, more than ten entrepreneurs carried forward the Yimeng spirit and started with three self-made red furnaces. They developed and produced electric motors and agricultural machinery tools tailored for rural agricultural construction. The products sold well in rural areas north of the Yangtze River and were well received by farmers. In less than a year, the enterprise achieved from scratch, with production scale and various economic indicators, ranking among the top in the machinery industry in Linyi area.

Starting from 1970, through market research, we introduced, absorbed, and trial produced the first S7 and S9 energy-saving distribution transformers in the company's history from the Shenyang Substation. They passed the product appraisal organized by the former Ministry of Water and Electricity in one go. The "Yimeng" brand distribution transformer product was launched into the market and received unanimous praise from users, selling well in the market. The product quality and brand reputation became outstanding in the industry, and the company achieved its first economic leap.

From 1984 to the 1990s, we successively cooperated with higher education institutions such as Shandong University of Technology, introduced and trained a large number of professional and technical talents, established a transformer research institute, and enhanced the hard power of the enterprise. At the same time, we actively and successfully obtained national technological renovation projects and funding, carried out the first large-scale infrastructure construction since the establishment of the factory, eliminated outdated equipment, and installed multiple production lines for silicon steel sheets and copper wire processing. All production and processing equipment for transformers were updated and replaced, achieving a qualitative leap in production capacity and efficiency from S9 to S11 products for power transformers. Our per capita output value ranks among the top in the same industry in China, and we have become one of the four major transformer production units in Shandong Province.

In 2000, the company seized the opportunity to become one of the first pilot enterprises for system reform in the county and restructured from the original Shandong Yimeng Transformer Factory to the current Shandong Yinan Yimeng Transformer Co., Ltd. (changed to Shandong Yimeng Power Equipment Co., Ltd. in 2013). After the restructuring, the enterprise has shown great vitality. The decision-making level is far sighted and prepared for danger in times of peace. With the help of power research institutions, the S13 and SH15 series energy-saving power transformers have been successfully developed. All performance and technical indicators are superior to the national standard, and they are invincible in the fierce market competition.

In 2008, the company continuously increased its pace of expanding its product market in multiple fields. With the support of State Grid Corporation of China, we have successively developed transmission and distribution protection and control products such as box type substations and complete sets of high and low voltage switchgear, which add tens of millions of yuan in production capacity to the company every year and become a new economic growth point for the company.

In 2012, the company made the decision to create a technology leading enterprise. From the end of 2013 to 2014, it raised tens of millions of yuan to build a high starting, modern new factory area, and successfully relocated the factory in 2015. The relocated enterprise has established a complete technical management system from scientific research and development, product design, process management to product manufacturing. It has passed ISO9001 quality system certification and CCC (self declaration) system certification, and has the ability to develop new products and technologies with leading domestic level.
The upgrading of product structure, diversification of products, and dual circulation of domestic and international markets have injected strong impetus into the company's development.

Since 2018, facing the continuous upgrading of global economic integration, logistics, and trade, the survival environment of enterprises has been greatly impacted. The company first allocated 30% of its annual revenue as funds for new product research and development, key production, and testing equipment updates to enhance its core competitiveness. During this period, all design work of the company has achieved computer-aided design and parametric design, and important components have been designed in 3D; The second is to change business decisions and establish new development ideas, vigorously explore overseas markets in emerging countries, and take solid steps on the path of internationalization.

So far, we have independently developed, produced, and put into the market five series of energy-efficient new products, including S20, S22, SCB13, SCB14, SCB18, with nearly 50 specifications (including photovoltaic power transformers and their accessories), YBW series 12KV prefabricated substations, KYN28, XGN, GGD, MNS, GCK and other models of high and low voltage switchgear, GGJ low voltage reactive power compensation devices, YM-12 (V)/630-20, YM-12 (C)/630-20, YM-12 (F)/125-31.5 and other models of ring main units. The products are distributed in more than 20 provinces, cities and autonomous regions in China, and exported to Southeast Asia, Africa and other countries along the the Belt and Road.
